Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Routinize ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Routinize is a habit tracking application that helps users:

• Create and manage daily habits
• Track habit completion and progress
• Monitor streaks and achievements
• Sync data across devices (with account)
• Access premium features through subscription

User Accounts

Account Creation

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts

Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the App
• Use automated systems (bots) to access the App
• Resell or redistribute the App or its services
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Subscription and Payment

Free and Paid Features

• Free Version: Limited to 2 habits (without sign-in) or 3 habits (with sign-in)
• Pro Version: Unlimited habits and premium features

Subscriptions

• Subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Pricing is displayed before purchase and may vary by region
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Refunds are handled according to Apple App Store and Google Play Store policies
• We do not have access to or control over app store refund policies

Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription anytime through your app store account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No partial refunds for unused subscription time

Intellectual Property

Our Rights

• Routinize and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by us
• Our trademarks, logos, and service marks are protected
• You may not use our intellectual property without written permission

Your Content

• You retain ownership of the habit data you create
• By using the App, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your data to provide the service
• We will not sell or share your habit data with third parties for marketing purposes

Data and Privacy

• Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy
• We collect and process data as described in the Privacy Policy
• You consent to data collection and processing when you use the App
• You may request data deletion by contacting support

Service Availability

• We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
• The App may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with or without notice

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not liable for data loss, even if advised of the possibility
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months
• We are not liable for third-party services (Auth0, RevenueCat, AWS)

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another user or third party

Disclaimers

• Results Disclaimer: We do not guarantee specific results or outcomes from using the App.
• Third-Party Services: We are not responsible for third-party authentication or payment services.

Changes to Terms

• We may modify these Terms at any time
• Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms
• If you do not agree to changes, stop using the App

Termination

By You

• You may delete your account at any time through the App settings
• Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Abuse the service or harm other users
• Fail to pay for subscription services
